After a sharp drop in organic traffic following their website relaunch, Eucerin asked us to help win back visibility and traffic. We dived deep into the data, optimised dozens of pages and gave targeted technical advice to their teams.

Eucerin is known worldwide as a skincare brand, with dermatologically tested products loved by consumers and professionals alike. In the Netherlands and Belgium, the brand is active with a broad product line for specific skin problems.
After a website relaunch, Eucerin suddenly lost positions for important keywords in both Belgium and the Netherlands. It therefore had to become clear quickly what the cause was and how we could fix it.
Our approach started with a ‘Lost Ranking Analysis’, comparing SEO data from before and after the relaunch. We combined data from Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Google Analytics to uncover the negative trends. We then reviewed 50+ product pages for content, user experience and technical SEO.
Based on this, we made several recommendations focused on helping Google understand the website better. Think of advice such as setting up canonical tags correctly and configuring the robots.txt file properly. We integrated the insights into clear, action-oriented briefings in Jira for their development team.
Through targeted content optimisation and technical SEO, we achieved a 30% increase in SEO traffic and a 15% higher CTR, restoring our online visibility.
In Belgium, we focused on recovering lost rankings for keywords such as ‘keratosis pilaris’ and ‘ouderdomsvlekken’. In the Netherlands, we optimised the structure of more than 50 PDPs for titles, headings and meta descriptions based on search behaviour and CTR data.
We also gave concrete technical advice: from canonical fixes to crawl strategy, to help search engines understand the website correctly.
The concrete results:
