Google Search Console is a free tool provided by Google. With this tool, you can easily track and maintain the findability of your website in Google’s search results. It also gives you the chance to gain insight into how Google sees your website and how you can improve your website.
To go through the next steps, you must be a verified owner of a website. Are you not yet verified in Google Search Console or do you want to link your website to Google Search Console? Then follow the following steps.
Step 1
Login to Google Search Console account:
- Go to the following page: https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome?utm_source=about-page
- Click on the log-in in the top right corner. Log in with your Google account, to which your website is linked in GSC.
Step 2
Search property:
- Click on the three lines at the top left. The search bar with ‘Search property’ appears.
- Search for your website and click on it. In the next screen, you will see an overview of the results of your website.
Step 3
Settings:
- Scroll left in the menu to ‘Settings’.
- Click on ‘Users and “permissions”.
- Click on ‘add user’ at the top right.
- Enter the email address and add the permissions (owner, full or limited).
Step 4
Done! The new user has now been successfully added!
